JPMorgan Chase Senior Leisure Travel Advisor, Chase Travel in Apple Valley, California

As a Leisure Travel Advisor in FROSCH (CTJ), you will manage all aspects of clients' travel from initial request to completion while utilizing company services and resources, selecting appropriate vendors, anticipating clients' travel needs, and establishing customer rapport. This position requires a self-starter, customer service-oriented individual that is passionate to succeed and willing to learn more about the travel industry.

This role is part of the Administrative Support Services business unit within the Chase Travel Group. This team is dedicated to supporting the businesses of Independent Travel Advisors with FROSCH. You will be working with seasoned advisors on travel related bookings, administrative tasks, and client facing interactions

Job responsibilities

  • Arrange all elements of travel from initial request to completion for all clients, while providing best in class customer service that exceeds clients' expectations

  • Listen and guide the conversation to solve problems in a timely manner with all types of customers in all circumstances, be responsive to client's needs and issue resolution with excellent communication and follow up

  • Utilize preferred partner relationships and vendor contracts to get the best availability, rate and additional benefits to insure maximum access and highest service levels for our clients

  • Clearly communicate in a professional manner with clients and vendors, excellent phone and customer service skills

  • Be a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations which provide the very best traveler experience in each situation; including destination, points of interest, regulations, etc. creating multiple options for clients including post travel follow up

  • Stay up to date on trending travel destinations and new technology to adjust quickly to shifting needs of the business, utilize industry publications

  • Develop relationships with clients to improve the overall service level

  • Participate in training and functions as appointed by manager

  • Communicate FROSCH's operating standards to suppliers appointed to specific arrangements by utilizing FROSCH and authorized vendor technologies to manage client profiles, documents, policies, unused ticket management, compliance and savings documentation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 5 years in the travel industry with experience on a Global Distribution System; Sabre

  • Experience arranging domestic and international travel for clients; setting up PNR's, ticketing, and exchanging tickets

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Prior, extensive experience in positions that incorporate customer service, sales, and strong communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and exceed client expectations with meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to work cohesively with a team to ensure worldwide coverage for clients by meeting customer needs on a global scale

  • Ability work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency as well as ability to adapt to change as needed

  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and display proactive problem solving skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Word

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Expertise in sales, customer service, multi-tasking, and advanced recordkeeping and mathematical skills

  • Current experience of domestic and international airports, domestic and international cities, and travel destinations, including expertise of hotel, airline, car, resort, and other vendors as they pertain to travel

  • Advanced ability utilizing modern telephones and telephone functions, specifically voice over IP telephones

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system. Novice proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel

CA $22.54 - $43.73 / hour
