RMBS Principal Finance - Executive Director (New Origination Sector)
Job Summary:
As an Executive Director for the RMBS Principal Finance team within the Securitized Products Group ("SPG"), you are responsible for providing asset backed financing solutions to institutional and corporate clients of the firm secured by U.S. residential mortgage assets.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop a strategic business plan including market analysis, competitive positioning, and revenue targets in the new origination mortgage sector
Represent the company at industry conferences, client visits, events / forums to enhance visibility
Establish strong relationships with mortgage lenders, financial institutions, and other clients to drive business development and revenue growth
Keep informed of economic conditions in the mortgage landscape, regulatory environment, and technology advancements. Proactively adapt strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities
Work on complex financing structures - manage the process from mandate to deal execution
Coordinate and communicate with different internal counterparties within the bank (Trading, Sales, Banking, Diligence, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Research, Operations, Compliance, Technology, Accounting, Legal, etc.)
Knowledgeable about operations and servicing of a financing portfolio in the new origination sector. Improve processes, internal infrastructure/architecture and automation
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree with demonstrated academic excellence
At least 10 - 15+ years relevant professional experience
At least 5+ years of management experience
Deep knowledge of new origination mortgage sector clients (specifically small to mid-sized) and relevant opportunities / challenges required
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
Proven track record of building long-term client relationships
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with various stakeholders
Strong problem solving skills
