55ip Business Process Improvement Associate
This is a high-profile position which is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and in coordinating the deployment of the firm resources to address strategic and tactical objectives. .
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Partner with 55ip teams across Distribution, Client & Trading Operations, Product Management, Research and Technology to understand priorities, issues, challenges and requirements and provide business operations support and establish best practices as needed.
Assist in designing processes, operating models and help document the policies, procedures and terms of reference supporting the 55ip business.
Help facilitate the development of program requirements, manage the interdependencies between cross-functional teams and programs, and coordinate activities required for delivery
Partner with project leads across all phases of a product development lifecycle including concept design, features, processes, controls development, build, testing, and launch readiness that facilitates an efficient and consistent approach
Provide an effective liaison between 55ip teams and various support groups (e.g. Compliance, Risk, Controls, Finance, Audit, HR) to manage both the day to day operations, and to define and help implement key initiatives for the business.
Work with auditors and internal control functions for the purposes of business reviews and exams.
Support the day to day operation of the businesses, including participating & representing 55ip Business Operations in governance forums and supporting control processes where needed.
Maintain tracking tools to manage open items, matters requiring escalation, deadlines, issues, and risks across various initiatives.
Prepare ad hoc analysis and presentations as needed on various elements of the business as needed
Prepare materials related to status updates and working group meetings
Support other team members to deliver on various initiatives.
2-3 years of experience building out processes and managing cross functional projects that drive business impact
Exceptional organizational capabilities and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working cross-functionally and with control teams and processes
Proven ability to think critically with process improvement experience and a strong desire to drive efficiencies
Ability to execute and project manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
Ability to foster cross-collaboration across various stakeholders with competing priorities
Outstanding ability to prioritize and quickly pivot to adapt to changing priorities
Prior financial services experience, ideally in an investment management context
Strong work ethic and a desire to work in fast-paced environment
Able to assist in defining and delivering to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
Must be a team player and deadline driven
