JPMorgan Chase ETF Product Development - Vice President in Boston, Massachusetts

JPMorgan is one of the largest Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) service providers globally with offices, operations and clients throughout the world. The ETF Product Development team is responsible for the delivery of core product enhancements and targeted tactical solutions to meet the extensive needs of the clients and prospects for the ETF product. The team also maintains and expands subject matter expertise, providing thought leadership in the ETF product space.

Position Summary:

As an ETF Product Development Associate within the ETF Product Development team at JPMorgan, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of system developments. You will have the opportunity to liaise directly with clients, technology, operations, and product groups in solution definition, technical design, and delivery to production for end users. This role will allow you to showcase your resourcefulness and execution mindset, as you collaborate across multiple teams within the bank. Your strong interpersonal, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills will be key in this role. You will have the opportunity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and promote them to completion effectively, providing you with a unique platform to grow and develop your career.

You should be resourceful and execution-driven. Strong cross-functional/business collaboration skills are required as you will work across multiple teams within the bank. You must have strong interpersonal, problem-solving, project management and written and verbal communication skills. Also important is the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences; manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively.

Importantly, in this role you will provide the foundational experience and cross-business visibility that can serve as a segue to additional transformation opportunities in the Securities Services Product Development organization

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Product, Operations, Testing Groups and senior members of Product Development to plan release UAT and client JUAT's ensuring the UAT environment connectivity and usage is communicated to all stakeholders

  • Create and have oversight of UAT environment program plan detailing all planned releases / testing cycles and providing transparency of any environment contention / downtimes.

  • Collaborate with members of Product Development to design and deliver key elements of the strategic ETF design roadmap

  • Manage effective working group meetings across Product, Operations and Technology to deliver on key services and tools

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and helping to affect change

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 4 year's experience in a product development or similar role, with Exchange Traded Fund knowledge

  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of teams and be personally accountable for achieving key milestones.

  • Guide product enhancements through requirement development, product testing and release management; deliver on-time and under-budget

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work concurrently

  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and convert into a reportable format

  • An independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode on multiple assignments

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in use of JIRA, screen design and Microsoft (excel, PowerPoint, word etc.) tools.

  • Personally, accountable for achieving key milestones on a roadmap

  • Be able to progress initiatives in a cross-functional and matrixed organizational model and guide product enhancements through required development, testing, and release management.

  • Strong communication and influence management skills, ability to articulate complex ideas and analytics in a succinct way.
