JPMorgan Chase AML & CLS Change Management in Brooklyn, New York

This position is part of the firm's Compliance - Alert Operations and Compliance List Screening Program Management team. The team covers both global and business-aligned functions supporting the firm's AML, Sanctions and Know Your Customer (KYC) programs. This team works globally in partnership with the Lines of Businesses (LOBs), GFCC Policy, Global Compliance Technology, GFCC Business Support, and Operations teams.

Successful candidates possess a solutions driven mindset with strong problem solving and analytical skills. They are comfortable to work independently to identify process efficiencies and take initiative on managing various projects to implement operational changes. In addition, successful candidates are quick learners that will be able to readily understand the end to end processes for Client List Screening and AML concepts. The AML & CLS Change Management Associate will be able to manage high profile projects and deliver results, by setting goals and communicating accurate timelines to support long-term strategies.

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the AML & CLS Change Management team, you will be responsible for identifying process efficiencies and areas of operational risk to design solutions and work with technology to deliver strategic projects

  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline current processes, focus on driving efficiency and improvements in controls

  • Detect business process re-engineering solution recommendations and translate decisions into formalized projects

  • Create concise high quality status reports, leveraging firm PM tool standards, assembles meeting agendas, tracks follow ups, crafts and delivers presentations for various stakeholder’s, and ensures end-to-end tracking

  • Develop business cases and perform complex data analysis to provide supporting evidence for various projects

  • Participate on various initiatives, providing insight and feedback on projects to ensure longer term efficiency

  • Obtain a detailed understanding of JPMC Global AML/KYC Standards for screening to enable effective decision making on screening solutions

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams in the assessment of new opportunities and initiatives in order to analyze how they could be delivered and the benefits they would provide

  • Proactively escalate issues and communicate timely status updates to key stakeholders on a regular basis

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with Lines of Businesses, Vendor Management, various Technology teams, GFCC Policy, and Business Analysts, LOB Relationship Managers, and Compliance groups

  • 2+ years’ project management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent required

  • Proven track record managing or supporting several multi-faceted projects in parallel successfully

  • Working knowledge of JPMC Global AML/KYC Standards and Appendices, and the AML/BSA regulatory space

  • Demonstrated adherence to controls and standards within a regulatory environment

  • Strong analytical, interpretation and documentation skills required

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings, projects, and facilitate discussions accordingly with senior management

  • Proven ability to work in a high-pressure and dynamic environment on high profile and priority projects while maintaining attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries to accomplish common objectives, including the appropriate escalations in the organization to ensure timely resolution of defects

  • Understanding of project management methodologies and ability to produce project materials that are on target, on time and of the highest quality standards

  • Strong Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint/PitchPRO applications
