JPMorgan Chase Collateral Svc Specialist III in Chicago, Illinois

As a Collateral Svc Specialist III, you will service the loan after it has been paid in full, to ensure the collateral securing the loan is released.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive system research and draft collateral releases for WLS.

  • Review and understand JPMC approval requirements for releasing collateral.

  • Perform reconciliations of collateral items against loan systems and research outages.

  • Research and respond to internal inquiries for prompt customer resolution.

  • Key and update collateral information on the applicable collateral system.

  • Understand and adhere to Bank policies and procedures.

  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • Meet and exceed established Service Level Agreements.

  • Exercise judgment, discretion and prioritization.

  • Participate in projects and working groups as required

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum of years of prior loan operations experience in a banking or financial services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of loan documentation required, paralegal certificate a plus.

  • Detail Oriented- Appreciate the importance of details and seek to understand their impacts; take methodical approach to tasks.

  • Work with a sense of urgency; seek out and adapt to best practices; seek constant improvement; motivated by personal and departmental goals.

  • Exceptional internal and external customer service skills.

  • Team Oriented- Readily shares information with peers and managers; can teach others; willing to assist wherever needed: works toward team success and goals.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Commercial Loan systems knowledge including, but not limited to, ACBS, Loan IQ, and VLS.

  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting to ensure team's objectives are met.
