JPMorgan Chase Commercial Bank Learning Program Associate in Chicago, Illinois

Looking for a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter to execute Commercial Bank Analyst and Associate Training Programs and credit training programs for the front office. Partner with stakeholders across the country to ensure participants receive the technical skills training necessary to successfully execute their roles.

The CB Learning team trains 2,400 employees annually within the Commercial Bank on introductory, intermediate and advanced commercial banking, credit and lending topics - which includes, but is not limited to, introductory and intermediate accounting, corporate lending, corporate financial statement and credit analysis, asset and collateral analysis, free cash flow analysis, business, industry and management analysis, risk rating and loss given default assessment, corporate credit structuring and financial modeling and forecasting.

As a Learning Program Associate in Commercial Bank, you are a critical member providing best-in-class credit training for analysts, associates, and front-office professionals to support the Commercial Bank's business priorities and to attract and retain top talent in the industry. Our training programs are distinguished by extensive business engagement with Commercial Banking professionals actively involved in training design and instruction. As a member of the team, you will partner closely with the business and human resource professionals to support training programs for professionals across Commercial Banking. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Commercial Banking projects and new initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Program Managers, senior leaders and others to implement and execute analyst, associate and front office credit training programs

  • Coordinate program communications and communicate with participants regarding enrollment, rosters, housing, travel, pre-work assignments, program material (e.g. course content, exams, homework, surveys, SharePoint, etc) and post-program assignments

  • Coordinate all in-person and virtual classroom requirements (e.g. coordinating with JPMC Conference Center teams for space/setup/technology/catering, preparing name tags/tents/signage/seating charts, collecting and storing course materials

  • Program execution: supporting presenters, consultants and TAs; addressing participant needs; recording sessions, etc

  • Track training participants' attendance, grades and course requirements; produce and distribute final participant evaluations to stakeholders

  • Work with Program Manager using Kirkpatrick Model to gain insight and report impact and outcomes of training through knowledge review, self-assessment, course assessment, manager feedback and analysis of productivity reporting.

  • Develop effective PowerPoint presentations and other materials suitable for senior executives

  • Plan and execute program receptions and networking events as required

  • Strategize with the CB Learning team on program improvements and enhancements

  • Ad Hoc administrative tasks (e.g. coordinate and schedule meetings, general calendar management, manage filing system, etc.)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 2+ years of training coordination and support, project management, commercial banking experience and/or equivalent experience in corporate environment for a major company or other complex, matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated success prioritizing and managing logistics for multiple programs, projects or events simultaneously

  • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail and writing quality

  • Innovative, enthusiastic and solution oriented self-starter who works independently and produces quality results without frequent supervision

  • Relationship management skills; ability to interact with employees at all levels of seniority

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking to large and small groups

  • Flexibility in work hours as required by training programs with current expectation to be in office 3x a week (may differ during programs)

  • Strong PowerPoint skills to develop presentations for all levels of management

  • Proficiency in Excel including ability to interpret, analyze and present data

  • Proficiency in learning management systems, Adobe Connect, SurveyMonkey, and Mentimeter a plus

  • Strong SharePoint and Microsoft Teams development and maintenance skills
