We are looking for an AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Release Manager who wants to disrupt and shake things up. Working in Agile, we strive to deliver our products to market as fast as possible. The AEM Release Manager plays a critical role in this process. You will be expected to know how to think critically, handle pressure and have excellent speaking and writing skills in order to engage with over 70 teams who need our services. You should have strong AEM administrator skills, content management and some development skills a plus. This is a very important role with room for growth for the right person. What this role entails:
Lead the Release Management of all Secure, Marketing and Public content requests within AEM including coordination of the US schedule.
Responsible for establishing an intake process for daily, weekly and ad-hoc AEM managed service requests.
Liaison between the internal client, Secure Product Owner, RM India team and AEM Producers to ensure published release deadlines are met.
Liaison with the Release Management Office, responsible for ensuring all notifications regarding content releases get out in a timely manner.
Demonstrate ability to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Adobe Experience Manager digital content in many different sites, environments, versions and services.
Support daily, weekly, monthly, ad-hoc and quarterly weekend releases including installing packages, configuring new permissions, monitoring content publishing and troubleshooting issues along with producers and the AEM Dev Ops team.
Responsible for publishing managed content for producers, clearing cache and ensuring validations within the US time zone.
Back-up for Release Management India team on all projects.
Manages content repository and assists with AEM Product Owner to determine if new services are needed as requests are received (workflow package maintenance).
Implement best practices for operations, migration/deployment and administration for maximum ROI with reduced operational cost.
Define and improve common processes, procedures and framework guidelines for use across our unified AEM environment.
Ability to liaise with Infrastructure, Release Management and Development among other intersecting organizations to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problem management and determine root cause analysis.
Support application upgrades/integrations, deploying code/content, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Understand and participate in change control and change management processes.
Support AEM COSA team on small projects where needed and train for support as necessary on release activities.
Must have 3+ years hands on prior experience as administrator on AEM 6.1 and above.
4+ years of experience in application administration.
AEM Knowledge of administration activities such as User permissions/creations with AD synchronization, creation of audit reports, dispatcher setup, code and configuration management, etc.
Strong experience in troubleshooting AEM administration related issues with upgrades.
Work with developers identifying issues and solving problems.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies/Jira
Ability to understand json.
Excellent knowledge of automating deployment and management of AEM services.
Maintain and manage the content repository.
Must have experience with CRXDE Lite.
