Organizational Development Manager – Commercial Banking

We are looking for an Organizational Development VP to support the Commercial Bank business transformation, reporting to the CB Head of Talent, Development and Diversity. The position represents an exciting opportunity to drive change in a rapidly evolving space, by designing and executing key talent development initiatives across CB. In this role you will work very closely with HR Business Advisors, Learning & Development Specialists and line managers, to create innovative solutions to drive value to a growing business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Works closely with HR Business Advisors by providing analysis, expertise, team facilitation and solutions for organization change efforts impacting the Commercial Bank
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on tools and strategies
Serve as a communications advisor to stakeholders and assist in building strategic communications plans
Provide support on organizational effectiveness exercises, e.g., span of controls, change readiness, etc.
Works closely with Leadership Edge on CB manager effectiveness programs
Deliver innovative organizational development solutions by partnering across the firm (functions, lines of business, regions) to drive best practices, consistency, and measure impact
AdviseHR Business Advisors and managers on group, team and individual development
Conduct needs analysis to identify gaps at the individual, team and organizational levels (e.g., through interviews, focus groups, data collection and analysis)
Coachtoptalent to support their development (e.g., Leadership Edge Executive program nominees; diverse radar)
Participate in firm-wide Learning & Development projects (e.g., Employee Opinion Survey)
Support the transformation of the CB talent organization as it relates to data analytics, change management and development programs
Collaborate with the team on the development and execution of the Talent & Diversity Agenda
Manage the Talent calendar and communications, including the weekly round-up
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a fast paced, changing environment
Progressive thinker and digital savvy, with consulting experience desired
Understand what it takes for an organization to transform and how to drive change efforts (e.g. stakeholder analysis, communication plan and measurement)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient data analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative) and ability to identify themes/trends
Strong project management and planning skills
Strong facilitation and coaching skills
Team-oriented, actively participating to foster a positive work environment with peers
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presence and ability to influence others
Flexible, able to pivot when interactions and outcomes do not go as planned
Self-starter who is results-oriented and able to execute using existing resources and tools
A strong learning orientation, in order to quickly acquire new techniques, tools and methods
Strong technical skills, including PowerPoint/ PitchPro+, Excel and Word – ability to build senior level presentations and materials
B.A. degree in related field; advanced degree desirable
