JPMorgan Chase Software Architect Lead - (Commercial Card Technology) in Chicago, Illinois
As an experienced Architect, your mission is to design innovative solutions that improve how commercial card business evolves. Your deep knowledge of design, analytics, and software engineering will help the team elevate expertise, meet firm wide standards, as well as satisfy both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be leveraged to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems. You will work closely with other architects, developers, tech leads, customer experience, operations support and business leads and your ability to collaborate and reach consensus will be a significant and required asset. The position will also require you to identify issues in a collaborative environment and drive those issues to closure. You will be challenged to understand real business needs and balance the business needs with existing technical constraints and operational impacts in order to develop implementable solutions.

Provide expert knowledge of solution architecture and serve as Subject Matter Expert to Senior Technology managers, Business, Operations and Technology teams
Experience in financial/banking/card services domains
Design solutions for capabilities like customer self-service, client facing channels (online and mobile), credit card transaction processing, authentication, enrollment, onboarding and business-to-business interaction models
Ability to develop, maintain and improve the technical reference architecture, architecture roadmap and domain definitions for the capability
Experience in and leverage one or more common solution patterns:
Cloud (private and hybrid cloud platforms)
Web & Mobile applications
Microservice and event driven architecture
Initial scope, project request evaluations, sizing and feedback
Epic and Story elaboration
Modern UI, Data and Application Development (e.g. Java, Spring, ReactJS) frameworks/patterns
Workflow, Rules Engines and Decision systems
Service definition and consumption including API, brokers, RESTful APIs
Solution Availability, Extensibility, and Resiliency
Web responsive design applications
Big Data technologies
Experience using architecture methodologies, standards and tools (TOGAF, domain driven design, UML, etc.)
Experience demonstrating effective communications, including presenting to senior IT and business leaders, architecture peers and technical audiences with the effect of influencing the decision
