The Relationship Manager will manage the internal upstream and downstream relationships with our clearing partners and other internal partners; collaborate with all Chase Wealth Management Operations to work through business expectations and current workflow to ensure all business needs are being met by our internal partners; and ensure the current designed process flow proposed fulfills the needs of both upstream and downstream and adjust if needed. While working with the business, the Relationship Manager will ensure adequate controls are in place to minimize risk and are audit ready at all times.
Partner and build agreements with cross LOB Managers and internal partners to manage, monitor and track internal SLA’s and understand the goals of each area.
Responsible for monitoring through various reports, tools, and system research for all engagements/services.
Collaborative team player able to develop meaningful and effective working relationships with fellow colleagues and internal partners
Support and communicate upcoming events critical to the support of our clients.
Maintain ongoing relationships with business unit management to facilitate and address any requirements and issues that may arise from their respective partners.
They will partner with the leadership across those organizations to ensure there is a deep knowledge of both the inherent and residual risks associated with the products and/or services within the area.
This role will require delving into the details of complex processes across various organizations as appropriate.
The role will require close partnership with Management across various organizations including but not limited to Technology, Operations, Customer Experience, Product, Strategy, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
Acting as the business owner to successfully deliver this initiative including identifying the appropriate resources, technology requirements and other capabilities required to execute.
Identifying and escalating key decision points as necessary. Ability to quickly problem solve and navigate through issues that inevitably come up on a complicated initiative.
Communicating progress to senior executives and preparing updates for the Firm’s senior management team including Operating Committee updates, etc.
Identifying dependencies and synergies of the other LOB strategic initiatives, partnering with other work stream leads to determine optimal strategies.
Requires 5+ years of experience in one of the following: Investment Management or Brokerage industry experience. Quality Assurance, Oversight & Control, Risk Management preferred.
Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills to be used in evaluation and interpretation of data
Ability to follow complex methods and procedures in a changing business environment
Strong oral and written communication, presentation, project management and teamwork skills required; Must have the ability to document key process and control effectiveness testing in a clear and comprehensive manner
Strong priority/time management, multi-tasking skills and attention to detail required
Prefer demonstrated proficiency in using multiple systems, platforms and applications
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint applications required
Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
Highest level of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency
