About the Global Technology Reskilling Program

The Global Technology Reskilling Program is an accelerated training for aspiring software engineers. Specially designed for current employees without formal training in computer science or software engineering, this full-time, multi-week pilot program teaches participants how to code in Java and prepares them for the Emerging Talent Software Engineer Program.

Through the Reskilling Program, you will:

  • Learn and master the basics of object-oriented development using Java.

  • Engage in hands-on application of what you learn using various Agile software development practices.

  • Further your technical skills through workshops with subject matters experts (SMEs) on various topics.

  • Develop a continuous learning mindset in an open, collaborative learning environment.

  • Invest in your professional development through engagement with senior leaders, panels with Reskill alumni and networking.

  • Kickstart building a diverse network of peers, alumni, program managers, and more!

About You

We believe that anyone can be a software engineer. We're looking for self-starters with varied backgrounds and life experiences who dream of being software engineers.

The Global Technology Reskilling Program is an inclusive program, committed to hiring diverse candidates.

Eligibility:

  • Currently in a non-coding, 602 (or below) level role

  • Two years' experience at JPMorgan Chase and one year in current role

  • Aptitude for and interest in software engineering

  • No "growth" areas from the prior year's performance review and in "good standing"

  • Located in Chicago, Columbus, Delaware, New York Metro, Plano or Tampa

To be eligible for this program, you must be in your placement location at the start of training . The roles are non-relocation roles. JPMorgan Chase & Co., will not provide any assistance or any allowance for associated relocation costs.

You must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Likewise, JPMorgan Chase & Co., will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT.)
