JPMorgan Chase Executive Director, Digital Assistant and Search Area Product Owner in Columbus, Ohio
Chase is seeking a talented executive director as area product owner to join our product development efforts and drive excellence in our Digital Assistant and Search capabilities. The Chase Digital Assistance and Search product manages all digital conversational AI interactions with consumers, through chat services, natural language search and other enhanced natural language capabilities. These teams are focused on creating engaging a sophisticated natural language experience to enable convenient, friction-less, consumer financial services experiences across all channels: mobile via the Chase Mobile App, web via chase.com, and others.
Using Agile methodologies, this role will define, prioritize and execute against the product roadmap for their area of our Digital Assistant and Search product offering and related capabilities. Collaboration with product owners both within and outside of the team, designers, software developers and testers will be required to develop a unified customer experience to support all varieties of consumer product sets.
This position is a strong leadership position which requires the ability to come up to speed quickly on the business functionality of an array of inter-connected software components in order to deliver an ideal customer experience. Experience working with Natural Language Platforms and Conversational AI would be highly valued in this position. Candidates should have motivation and drive to lead initiatives through completion, ensuring all aspects of the experience are delivered with a high degree of quality and across an efficient timeline. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital and emerging technologies are also qualities that would make for an effective candidate. The role reports to the Chase Digital Assistant and Search Product Owner and will be based in Columbus, OH, Wilmington, DE or New York, NY
Lead an area product team to define, prioritize and drive the execution of initiatives in the area roadmap
Develop strategic vision for platform enhancements, new features, customer journeys as appropriate
Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, and line of business leads to produce proposed customer experiences that meet the vision and established pattern of the Digital Assistant.
Perform executive updates to the heads of Digital, Technology and others as appropriate
Partner with product owners to perform sprint planning and prioritization of the supporting scrum teams in order to align with roadmap priority and targeted planning
Own accountability for roadmap and associated initiative delivery from start-to-finish, including in-production performance.
Demonstrate ownership of requirements through knowledge expertise, removal of barriers and synchronization with broader product team.
Maintain strong control practices by perform monthly control validation of feature accuracy.
7 years of product management or relevant experience as well as record of individual technical achievement
Experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle
Expertise in business requirements writing and communication
Experience in creation of consumer facing, digital products
Effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
Proven track record of delivery and new product feature creation
Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business need and industry trends
Familiarity with the business services and offerings associated with Chase a plus
Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure
Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
BA or BS in applicable field of study
Experience with NLP / conversational AI or search a plus
