JPMorgan Chase Finance & Business Management - Branch Equipment Finance - Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

Gain hands-on experience with capital planning, financial modeling, and investment analytics for a vast consumer banking branch network, comprising over 4,900 branches and managing annual expenses exceeding $2.4 million.

As a Branch Tech Equipment Finance Vice President within the Real Estate Finance team, you will be responsible for strategic financial reporting and advising Chief Financial Officers on how to increase profitability and efficiencies. The Real Estate finance team is responsible for the capital planning, financial modeling and investment analysis of the Consumer Banking Branch distribution network of over 4,900 branches. In addition, the group is responsible for over $2.4 billion in annual network distribution expenses, financial and program support of the company's New Build program and complete financial support to the Chief Administration Office functions within Consumer Banking.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support of branch hardware technology equipment including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, pro-forma expense/cash flow modeling, and strategy impacting the portfolio of 50 technology hardware and service products distributed at each of the 4,900 branches inclusive of $150mm in operating expenses.

  • Provide business management support to the Branch Operations Product, Branch Workplace Technology, and Branch Formats Managing Directors and other business stakeholder teams including Branch Planning, Real Estate, Procurement, GTI, Technology, and Operations

  • Conduct various financial ad-hoc analyses including vendor contract analysis, investment analysis, and monthly branch technology equipment refresh capital and expense tracking

  • Collaborate with partners on tech equipment business cases, spend approval requests, and Agile tech prioritization.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the branch tech equipment business and financial principles to enable and assess channel performance as well as make recommendations

  • Actively participate in monthly branch technology equipment business reviews and steering meetings

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or an applicable discipline

  • 5+ years of successful finance and/or analytical experience

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of financial principles and ability to link results to activities including proven analytical, modeling and performance reporting skills

  • Keen business acumen and the ability to tell the compelling story from the information

  • Exceptional personal management, organizational, and problem solving skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same time and build effective partnerships

  • Strong team leader and change agent; passionate about partnering with CAO leadership to influence the business and advise up to and including at the Managing Director level

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications and ability to tailor message and style to different constituencies (e.g. Finance, Executive Management, Ops)

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, SAP, and Essbase

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • MBA a plus

  • Experience in Retail Financial Services
