JPMorgan Chase Full Stack Java Software Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Minimum 3+ years of programming / application development work.

  • Knowledge of financial systems, processes and instruments. Specific knowledge in Asset management would be ideal.

  • Strong knowledge of J2EE, JSP, JMS, EJB, servlet, JavaScript, Spring, Ajax and programming distributed applications.

  • Working knowledge of relational database technology (Oracle and PLSQL preferred).

  • GIT open source distributed version control experience.

  • Very good understanding of software testing techniques. Strong understanding of the software development methodologies, processes and principles.

  • Experience with Agile is a plus.

  • Test, modify, and implement application codes; make standard modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with high-level specifications, application support and industry standards (JUnit Testing, Test Scripts).

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems.

  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets.

  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices.

  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.

  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement.
