JPMorgan Chase Java Software Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages: Java
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
Responsible for enhancing, implementing, and configuration of vendor tax management software for the firm
Work with stakeholders on delivery status updates, establishing prioritization, and issue escalation
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
Experience delivering products across multiple releases
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Experience in Public Cloud, Amazon Web Service, EC2 instances, ASG, Terraform
Experience with Java Application Frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot) , ReactJS, Tuxedo Framework
Key Responsibilities•
Engage third party suppliers on applications support issues and deployment
Manages non-production environments that are part of the continuous delivery lifecycle
Multi-skilled developers addressing both functional and non-functional requirements
Ability to test and deploy all environments leveraging the right controls and automation
Design, Develop and Test key functionality within the application
Carry out design reviews/code reviews at agreed points throughout the project life cycle
