JPMorgan Chase Lead Software Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop, and implement software solutions. Conduct technical troubleshooting approaches to build solutions or breakdown technical problems. Develop secure and high-quality production code. Review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Developer, or related occupation.
