JPMorgan Chase Quant Analytics Senior Associate -JPMorgan Chase Sales Practices in Columbus, Ohio

As a Sales Practices Quant Analytics Sr. Associate within our US Sales Practices team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting our sales reports. You will work closely with business teams to ensure these reports are effectively implemented into production. Your role will involve providing First Line of Defense analytics, formulating control strategies, and conducting audit analytics to support our stakeholders. You will be expected to manage the end-to-end development of these solutions, interacting with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet these needs. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the solutions cater to business needs with 100% accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders and document Business Requirements for reporting requests

  • Develop and maintain automated reporting, which involves potential future change requests and/or production issue resolution

  • Troubleshoot afternoon report production issues by reviewing logs, making changes in Unix and rerunning

  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience

  • Prior experience documenting business requirements/procedures; interact effectively with both technical and non-technical business users including management

  • Prior experience working directly with stakeholders via requirements gathering, data review and/or deep dives into reporting procedures

  • Strong technical expertise in SAS/SQL/Python and cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to raise questions and seek clarification as required; excellent communication and presentation skills to different audience levels

  • Possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across teams to acquire necessary information

  • Identify problems effectively, systematically frame the problem, then leverages tools (e.g., experience, flowcharts, brainstorming, research) to identify multiple potential solutions and select the most feasible solution
