JPMorgan Chase Senior Talent Development Advisor in Columbus, Ohio

Join the team that delivers solutions for developing and retaining talent across the Consumer and Community Bank.

As a Senior Talent Development Advisor within the Consumer and Community Bank (CCB) Human Resources Talent Development team, you will partner with Talent Development Leads, Human Resources Business Advisors (HRBA) and business leaders in your aligned client groups. Your role will be to implement and execute development solutions aimed at the delivery of talent management, succession planning and readiness, promotion processes, performance management, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and team/leader effectiveness.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the development of an end-to-end talent development agenda for aligned client groups through partnership with Development Lead, business leaders, HR Business Advisors, Leadership Edge team and other Corporate Learning organizations

  • Leverage talent data to conduct needs analysis to identify gaps at the individual, team, and organizational levels

  • Execute select development solutions for employees, managers/leaders, and teams by partnering across CCB and the firm (functions, lines of business, regions) to drive best practices, consistency, and measure impact

  • Support the data gathering, materials preparation, facilitation and follow-up action planning for talent and succession planning and the identification of high potentials deeper in the organization

  • Act as a subject matter expert to aligned client groups on talent management, performance management, leadership development, diversity, and other key talent processes

  • Manage a wide array of projects to develop and /or implement development programs and other projects/initiatives including the identification and timely execution of deliverables, communications strategy, and implementation plan

  • Manage diversity, equity, and inclusion talent related initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years Learning & Development, Organizational Development and/or HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced corporate environment; financial services industry experience a plus

  • Executive presence and ability to influence across organizational levels and lines of business

  • Experienced project manager including managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced human resources data management and analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative), and ability to identify themes/trends

  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word - ability to build senior executive level presentations and materials

  • Able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities - large capacity

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with client offsite facilitation and team building

  • Team-oriented, actively participating to foster a positive work environment with peers

  • Comfort with matrix management structure and being a self-starter who is results-oriented and able to execute using existing resources and tools

  • B.A. degree in related field; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience considered
