JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer III- Front End in Columbus, Ohio

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within CCB, Banking and Wealth Management you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
BS/BA degree in computers or related field or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design
5+ years of strong experience in Core Java, Object Oriented Programming, Spring, Springboot
3+ Years of working with front-end technologies like ReactJS, NextJS, Angular etc.
Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools to improve development and testing efficiency (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Karate)
Proficient in micro services frameworks and tools (Spring Boot)
Proficient in Cloud and Container based development (AWS, Kube) is a plus
Proficient in programming/application development experience utilizing Java, Spring Boot, REST, Micro Services, Cloud Native, DevOps and Test-Driven Development
Knowledge of container-based development and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills (OOAD)
Experience working in Agile teams, ability to focus and grasp business concepts
In-depth knowledge of the financial systems
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
Exposure to cloud technologies
Good understanding of Banking Domain
