JPMorgan Chase Technology Resiliency Lead in Columbus, Ohio

Technology Resiliency's mission is to enable our businesses to continue providing outstanding products and services to our customers in the event of a technology disruption. The Technology Resiliency Team partners with technologists, product owners, risk partners, and business stakeholders to develop strong application resiliency capabilities, test their strategies, and ensure oversight of relevant controls. Resiliency Leads are experienced leaders who demonstrate the team's principles through strong relationships and a commitment to high quality execution. Equally important, Resiliency Leads are culture carriers who challenge, support, and develop others in an inclusive team environment. Resiliency Leads must also be able to adapt as related controls are brought under the governance of the team.

Role Description:

  • Interact primarily with technologists in Consumer & Community Banking (CCB)

  • Assist application teams with resiliency plans and testing, including coordination of testing conducted as a part of firm wide major events

  • Uphold firm wide standards and control procedures in resiliency and related control domains. Be proactive and serve as a point of escalation

  • Prepare and present metrics in executive forums

  • Represent resiliency to audit teams and coordinate responses to requests for information

  • Engage regularly with peer and senior technology and business leaders to keep focus on resiliency; be visible and available to partners

  • Drive simplification of processes and procedures

  • Promote the resiliency program by communicating policy or system changes clearly and concisely offering additional support and guidance as needed

  • Advocate for stakeholders to inform the resiliency program where there are opportunities for improvement

  • Develop firm wide relationships (CIB, AWM, CB, etc.) to generate best practice sharing

  • Adapt as needed as related controls are brought under the governance of the team

Experience:

  • Technology experience is required such as engineering, programming, or infrastructure experience

  • Experience in coordinating large-scale resiliency testing at a data center level

  • Experience in the management of control findings and responses or action plans

  • Application recovery and cyber recovery experience

  • Program, project, or product management and organization skills

  • Proven success in leading a team or function with a focus on metrics and high quality

  • Demonstrated success in managing effective relationships within the firm, at multiple levels

  • Experience in resiliency and/or CCB and/or a horizontal function supporting multiple Lines of Business is preferred

  • Demonstrated examples of process simplification with a risk and controls mindset

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication to various levels in the organization

  • Confident and strong executive presence

  • Accreditations are favorable (e.g., Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner)
