JPMorgan Chase Test Automation Lead in Columbus, Ohio
Test Automation Lead for the Cloud Platform requires hands-on experience will be responsible for contributing, collaborating, and influencing firm-wide directives of migrating complex automation platform level technologies to the cloud-enabled platforms.
The role is within the Consumer, Business Banking & Auto Finance (CBA) Engineering & Architecture team. CBA is undergoing a major multi-year effort focused on transforming the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from a Waterfall to Agile process, inclusive of DevOps, automation and Cloud initiatives that support the SDLC transformation. This Technology Leader for Advanced Automation Platforms - Engineering and Operations is key to the overall transformation.
Integrating the test data management continuous delivery of data pipelines at the functional level to these advanced cloud platforms for mission-critical workloads.
Must have experience in Big Data environments and familiar with technologies such as Mongo, Aurora, Cassandra, Kafka or related
Lead all aspects of automated quality assurance relative to a complex, distributed software environment
Creates and enhances a test automation framework
Including the development of testing strategies, automation approaches and contributes to establishing standards for the department
End-to-end ownership of the testing processes & frameworks for our service-oriented architecture
Develop Supports, trains, and/or mentors other team members in the use of the automation framework to develop test automation
Expert level experience creating custom automated testing APIs including common and application specific functions/sub-routines and execute automated API/UI/Unit tests to enable continuous delivery
Must be able to deploy applications on the cloud and run test automation
Must be familiar with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization & orchestration, configuration management, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems (preferred) or equivalent work experience
Test Automation Expert with a minimum of 10 years technology-based experience in engineering, and database technologies.
Development or test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, Appium ,REST, SOAP-UI, JIRA, etc.)
Experience in mobile OS profiling, and Messaging platform engineering and automation.
Deep understanding of SaaS Technology stacks providers such as Browerstack, Sauce Labs or related
CI tools such as Jenkins / Bit bucket/Sonar/Jbehave (or related)
Hands on experience migrating legacy databases to Cloud enabled platforms
Must have Database Technology experience in Mongo, Aurora, Cassandra, Kafka or related
Must have ability to influence
Contributions to external Industry conference through paper publication or through public speaking is a big plus
