JPMorgan Chase Vice President, Sr. Product Manager - Affluent Product Development in Columbus, Ohio

To further this vision, we are hiring a Vice President, Senior Product Manager to support the development of product strategy and product capabilities for our Affluent / HNW client segments. In this role, you will be responsible for translating the Affluent business strategy into product constructs and feature sets to enhance our competitiveness and bring an innovative and compelling product offering to market. You will sit in the Affluent general management team and work in deep partnership with the Core Deposit product and technology teams to ensure the Affluent / HNW product strategy is embedded in the firm's future state product design and execution. You will be expected to be the voice of the customer and own the end-to-end product lifecycle to develop, launch, and scale the future state product offering.

As a VP, Senior Product Manager in our Affluent Product Development team will enjoy working in a fast-paced, startup like culture with an orientation towards delivering tangible customer outcomes and business results. You will be an experienced product leader, able to drive prioritization, clearly translate business objectives to product requirements, as well as to oversee product execution and optimization. The customer is the center of everything you do, and you are hyper focused on understand customer needs and delivering on them through design-based thinking. You will be highly collaborative and able to tell a compelling narrative around product vision to influence stakeholders to buy-in.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads the Affluent consumer deposit product development effort based on strong understanding of Affluent business objectives, product strategy and customer needs. Develop a product development strategy in alignment with the firm's future state product vision

  • Becomes a trusted, active, and visible member of the CCB product ecosystem by developing deep partnerships with Deposits Platform teams, Area Product Groups, Legal / Risk / Control / Compliance partners as well as cross line of business partners, understanding their roadmaps and priorities and representing the desired future state Affluent / HNW client experience in shared forums and ensuring goals and requirements are communicated and understood by stakeholders

  • Demonstrates deep banking product expertise, backed by intimate knowledge of the Affluent / HNW clients' banking and cash management needs, to advocate and articulate both business and technical product specifications, including build-in technologies and features to the firmwide platform

  • Develops a deposit product roadmap, by leading the analysis to define opportunities through research, developing business cases in partnership with Finance and Risk, articulating actionable deliverables and timeline, proactively identifying risks to execution and managing the process end-to-end from ideation to delivery

  • Distills actionable insights from quantitative, qualitative, market, customer, competitor analyses and synthesizing into practical, implementable deposit product / pricing strategies and tactics

  • Adheres to risk & controls rules, policies, and regulations associated with product, pricing, risk, and customer management; remain committed to controls, compliance and the overall safety and soundness of our business; Liaise with Legal, Risk, Control and Compliance partners with respect to products

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • 5+ years of financial services product management experience with advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics

  • Superior project management, problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and manage and create structure, fully embrace change in a rapidly changing environment

  • Leverages an experimentation and test-and-learn / "fail fast" mindset and approaches

  • Superior communication skills; ability to speak comfortably and effectively to large groups of constituents; experience working and influencing senior stakeholders

  • Ability to actively work within a team environment while driving accountability for personal goals

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across a highly matrixed organization, lead multi-stakeholder projects/workstreams end-to-end and influence backlogs and priorities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Banking experience strongly preferred

  • Strategic thinker with a passion for creativity, innovation, as well as ability to have relentless focus on details and process

  • Advanced analytical skills, including financial analysis

  • Knowledge of competitor landscape
