JPMorgan Chase Commercial Card- Relationship Manager- Payments- Vice President in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Relationship Manager on our Commercial Card team, you will cover a small portfolio of the firm's largest and most complex Commercial Card clients. You will align with key client contacts across multiple levels to maximize spend opportunity and insure seamless delivery of payables for use by their entire base of travel suppliers. As an expert within the payments industry, you will have a thorough understanding of the travel agency use case to act as a consultant to your client to maximize share of wallet and direct them on the efficiency of using a JPMorgan virtual card for all payments. You will cultivate strong relationships with both your clients and with internal stakeholders by working closely with coverage partners that own the broader client relationship, to ensure efforts, communication, and focus are coordinated and consistently. Additionally, it is important to align with and maintain strong relationships with the Commercial Card technology, product, and servicing teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end payment experience. You will maintain best-in-class client experience standards through steady and meaningful contact, informative in person and virtual meetings, regular sharing of industry thought leadership, partnering with service and product teams to resolve escalations, and leading structured revenue generating optimization efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with C-level clients and Executive level internal stakeholders

  • Own the Commercial Card account relationship with primary focus on growth initiatives, retention and client experience

  • Navigate internal proprietary systems with ease

  • Demonstrate resiliency and adaptability in a fast-paced, innovative and complex client environment

  • Think critically and exercise sound independent judgment

  • Approach problems logically and with good judgement to ensure the appropriate outcome for clients and the firm, making appropriate decisions quickly and competently

  • Work effectively both independently and in a team environment

  • Demonstrate excellence including punctuality in responsiveness, integrity, and accountability

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Client Relationship Management

  • 5+ years of experience in Payments, Treasury or Commercial Card

  • In-depth product knowledge of Payables solutions including Commercial Card

  • Knowledge of travel industry and Online Travel Agency use case of payments as a service

  • Proven client ownership and trusted advisor relationship building skills

  • Demonstrable track record evidencing an exceptional client experience with measurable results and the ability to proactively build relationships and trust with clients

  • Experience in managing highly visible large clients with competing priorities and deadlines

  • Superior oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at various levels in the organization

  • Possess accounting and finance knowledge, understanding of client accounting systems and ERPs, and the ability to articulate bank integrations through sFTPs and APIs

  • Proven ability to innovate, problem solve, and develop customized solutions to solve client issues and challenges

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Possess exemplary client focus with the ability to learn a client's business to identify optimal payment and efficiency practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Salesforce, and Video Conferencing
