Insurance Servicing Manager II

Associate (Job Code: (LSIS13) - Grade 602)

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking and provides loan servicing functions for all four JPMorgan lines of business. These functions include loan documentation, closing and funding, payment and fee processing, syndication loan and trade processing, credit administration, collateral perfection and insurance servicing. Within WLS, this role serves to strategically engage internally to the Central Insurance Team (CIT) and externally with both Line of Business and WLS business partners.

Within JPM's Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) group, the Central Insurance Team (CIT) is responsible to ensure compliance with all Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA) regulations, as well as within corporate policy. This specialized position supports all loan products. Candidates will possess a background in commercial property & casualty insurance; with experience in reviewing insurance documents to ensure compliance. Candidates will be expected to forge strong internal partnerships with the business areas supported.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform insurance reviews and consultations within business service level agreements

  • Must demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills

  • Perform in a production and quality metric driven environment

  • Perform in a regulated setting while adhering to documented processes and procedures

Qualifications :

  • BA/BS degree preferred; comparable professional experience will be considered

  • Minimum 1-3 years of Flood insurance experience is preferred or comparable professional experience

  • Possess or develop an understanding of the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA) including National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and Private Insurance

  • Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment under high pressure situations

  • Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal and external groups

  • Ability to report results in a clear, concise manner at the appropriate level

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality

  • Possess a solutions-oriented mindset with analytical and problem solving skills

  • Must exhibit a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
