The candidate selected will be part of Corporate Technology Application & Technical Architecture engineering team to get involved in researching emerging technologies, developing framework solutions and supporting application teams. The preferred candidate will be able to work independently to solve complex problems and work with geographically spread teams. The preferred candidate should have several years of application development experience in multiple platforms and can complete assigned duties with minimal direction from management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop & execute proof of concepts with minimal direction.
Learn new technologies in short time and experiment.
Ability to approach in systematic way to solve complex problems.
Development of frameworks – Routing, CT Logging, Monitoring, Authentication, Error handling, Standards checker etc.
Working closely with application development teams and provide code guidance.
Sharp debugging skills using standards IDE, remote debuggers, CLI based tools.
Play SME role for application development teams to help Cloud, API and Microservices.
Minimum 5+ years development experience
Minimum 2+ years application architecture framework development/Engg experience
Core Tech - Spring Stack(MVC, Core, AOP), Spring boot, Java, JDBC, JPA/ORM, PL/SQL (Any one of DATABASE Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server), Web Services (SOAP/ReST)
Development Stack – IDEs (IntelliJ /Eclipse), Unit Testing tools (JMockit, others if any), Performance Testing tools (Jmeter/ Blaze/ loadrunner), Build tools (Maven/Gradle), CI/CD tools(Jenkins), Logging - Splunk
UI– Angular/React (either one is must)
API – ReST API, JSON/XML
Container – Docker basic development
Cloud – Spring Cloud Services, Microservices & Cloud design principles, Cloud foundry basic development experience
Messaging – JMS, Kafka
OS - Linux/Unix, Windows
Willing to learn new technologies and can-do attitude
Experience defining software development practices across teams of individuals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Agile development experience
Java –Advanced skills like heap dump analysis, multi thread programming, JVM Tuning
Scripts - Node.js/Python
API – Apigee Edge, Swagger
Cloud – Cloud Foundry advanced, AWS Services ( Exposure)
Containers – Docker advanced development, Kubernates
