JPMorgan Chase Transactions Specialist III in Indianapolis, Indiana

Join Chase as a Transactions Specialist III in the match engine department where you will work with a dynamic team to ensure smooth financial transactions.

As a Transaction Specialist III in match engine department your primary responsibilities will include researching exceptions, investigating suspicious activity, reconciliation, image processing and monitoring processing systems. You will also provide high-quality check servicing for external customers: end-to-end processing of commercial, Retail, branch, and correspondent customer deposits.

Job responsibilities

  • Perform various functions from end-to-end in Match Engine System

  • Perform research and resolve outstanding issues related to Check Image Processing

  • Operate Check Image Capture equipment

  • Handle exception processes

  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, imaging, data entry and open correspondence

  • Create and maintain loan files

  • Collaborate with the underwriting department

  • Provide coverage for any of the support roles as dictated by absences or volume fluctuations

  • Monitor and update various system records and credit website

  • Communicate with external agents and internal colleagues to resolve issues and discrepancies

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic office and computer skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior customer service experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Bank/Financial Services Industry knowledge

  • 10 Keys experience

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday flexibile hours 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm onsite.
