You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships and providing financial advice to your clients. A role as a Multinational Corporation Commercial Banker is for you.

The Multinational Corporation team within the Middle Market space manages J.P. Morgan's overall relationships with North American subsidiaries of large corporations headquartered outside the United States, to solve problems for clients and help them to grow. We help our clients meet their objectives and challenges in automation, risk management, working capital, and cash management.

In this role you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships. Multinational bankers work closely with product partners, Corporate Client Banking, Global Corporate Banking, and Core, therefore our ideal candidate exhibits a strong interest in cross border businesses, cultural sensitivity, a commitment to teamwork and partnership, and exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships

  • Find ways to drive new client acquisition in partnership with the bankers

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Seven years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships

  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services

  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and formal credit training preferred

  • Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships

  • Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask

  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
