JPMorgan Chase Executive Director-Director of Planning and Assessment in Jersey City, New Jersey
The Director of Planning and Assessment is responsible for supporting and managing the development and planning required to support and sustain Chase’s Global Operations and the associated businesses they support (e.g., Card, Retail, Auto, Merchant Services);
He/She will be responsible for determining the sequencing and implementation of large strategic programs to reimagine our operations model based on customer impact, value and time to market
He/She will be responsible for partnering with the functional business, digital partners, technology, controls, risk, legal, innovation and execution team
He/She will be responsible for a team that assesses and determines the impact of cross-Chase initiatives to the Operations organization
Partner with businesses on broad strategic initiatives (new platforms, servicing tools, routing infrastructure) to determine the integration points and how each integrates with the overall Operations vision/end-state transformation (3-year strategy)
Determine a common view/one central book of work and innovations that are driven by solution customer and business needs
Determine horizontal roadmap that delivers incremental value across multiple releases; modification of roadmap based on changing market needs, customer needs and opportunities
Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making within senior-level audiences.
Partner with PMO to move programs through the Demand Management lifecycle towards execution
Collaborate with strategic partners to ensure sound roadmap and existing and new capabilities are being maximized across the organization
Partner with businesses to help determine broader Operating models and impacts to the end-to-end customer and employee lifecycle
New business initiatives (NBIA) and downstream business and operational impact assessment
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business strategy and execution
Ability to measure pre and post tracking of adoption initiatives including NPS, CSAT, Call/Branch volumes, digital engagement
Project experience to include corporate or business strategy development, organizational design, annual business planning and prioritization.
Candidates must have experience in both building strategy and executing it with demonstrable results and outcomes
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders across functions and at all levels (business, technology, operations, executives, peer and staff)
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with ability to influence the development and execution of key operational strategies and projects
Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to present to varied and large audiences, including executive updates
Capable of navigating in dynamic and complex organization environments
Well-developed ability to attract, train, motivate, develop and retain employees
Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree is desirable
