JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Jersey City, New Jersey

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop, deploy, test and review software. Design and implement application on cloud platform. Design, and collaborate to create runnable, testable features. Produce comprehensive tests for all developed software. Configure continual Integration for version control. Setup Kafka event based framework for communication between modules that have real time messaging use cases. Create CI/CD pipeline for streamlined deployment of various modules to AWS environments. Contribute significantly in Database design discussions around Indexes and Table Keys for faster data querying. Investigate and troubleshoot any issues that came up during joint Testing and production parallel runs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: JAVA programming language; Hibernate and JPA frameworks for ORM; Oracle database; Restful webservices; Maven; Jenkins; Agile based development; Junit; Mockito; Messaging system Solace; GIT; micro-services-based architecture.

Job Location: 575 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $140,050.00-$180,000.00 per year.
