Our software engineering team is responsible for providing business critical functions to institutional clients. We look for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You will be required to apply your knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring and other J2EE technologies.
Proficient with databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle), web servers (e.g. Apache tomcat).
Proficient with micro services, Restful web Services. and cloud technologies.
Good understanding of Java profile tools, Unit test frameworks like Junit and ability to write unit test cases.
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
Object Oriented software design/programming, design patterns and multi-threading.
Ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions to problems.
