The Role:

The primary function of the Diverse Wealth Initiatives (DWI) Associate is providing support to DWI and Black Wealth Initiatives (BWI) leadership and Bankers in all facets of managing their books of business. The Banker is the face of J.P. Morgan's Private Banking business, and the DWI Associate assists DWI, BWI and Bankers in designing strategies for new client acquisition and deepening of relationships. The DWI Associate's primary goal is to develop opportunities to reach and engage Black families to deliver a best-in-class client experience and assist our resources to increase our diverse advisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leverage to DWI and BWI leaders on initiative priorities

  • Support BWI Bankers with ongoing prospect identification, which includes coordinating information and communication with BWI/DWI leadership

  • Identify opportunities to amplify J.P. Morgan to diverse communities

  • Support DWI and BWI leaders in developing partnership with recruitment to increase Black analyst pipeline and advisor hiring

  • Assist DWI and BWI leaders with development of content, sponsorships and new events to reach Black affluent individuals

Qualifications:

  • Coachable professional with good "business sense" and an energetic/dynamic personality

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player

  • Interest in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
