J.P. Morgan Intelligent Digital Solutions (IDS) is a newly developed division of J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management – one of the largest asset and wealth mangers in the world, with client assets of $2.8 trillion and assets under management over $2 trillion (Assets as of June 2018).
The Digital Wealth Management (DWM) organization aims to create a fully-integrated digital experience for investment clients across the wealth continuum. DWM partners closely with the business, both in Wealth Management and Investment Services (WMIS) globally and Chase Wealth Management (CWM) domestically – including senior management and front office leaders – to ensure the DWM roadmap and digital product offerings meet client needs and enhance their relationships with the firm. In delivering a compelling, omni-channel journey through the entire client life cycle, DWM will extend and amplify the firm’s wealth management experience through digital. Tight collaboration with functional partners and control areas is essential in DWM’s goal of executing against a multi-year strategic initiative that will drive growth in financial performance, increase business and operational efficiency, improve client satisfaction and increase market share.
The role is a combination of digital product management with a focus on investing, brokerage and trading. The role supports the recently launched digital platform, You Invest. Launching new digital products as well as digitizing existing processes are important aspects of this role. Candidates will partner with the investment bank as well as technology to deliver new products. Experience with investment products and trading is essential.
This position requires the ability to come up to speed quickly in new business areas, work with multiple products/projects/business units in parallel, and balance multiple initiatives.
Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital and emerging technologies.
Define new product feature epics and stories working collaboratively with business, design and engineering teams to ensure delivery of product vision and roadmap;
Create concise, compelling content and business case to present and sell concepts through to senior management;
Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives;
Help define product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into product roadmaps;
Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs. Identify market opportunities and define product strategy to reflect those;
Lead cross-functional team across multiple scrum teams, environments teams, QA, designers, content editorial for on-time delivery;
Perform User Acceptance testing per release requirements;
Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term;
Coordinate backlog for defect resolution. Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, wire-frames, product requirements to support development;
Collaborate with financial experts and technology to design new products
Must have knowledge of brokerage, trading industry
Preferred experience with fractional shares and dividend re-investments.
Strong business communication and writing skills
Experience with agile product development techniques
Experience with JIRA
Very well organized and detailed oriented
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Word, etc.)
Education: Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred
Experience: 3+ year's financial services/brokerage experience and digital product management
Licenses: Series 7 & 63 will be required
