The Campus Recruiter is responsible for building a strong pipeline of analysts and associates across the Asset & Wealth Management business, including: ownership and/or execution of early identification events, summer internship hiring, ‘on-cycle’ full-time recruiting and the management of school teams. Additionally, the recruiter is responsible for managing the summer internship program, with oversight of the intern to full-time conversion process

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Strategy

  • Work with the business to determine annual analyst and associate intern/full-time hiring needs

  • Build a strong pipeline of talent at the analyst and associate level, considering our firmwide diversity agenda and subsequent targets

  • Ensure our recruitment strategy allows for diverse hiring: school selection, on-campus recruiting activities, scholarships, building relationships with diversity organizations and through training within our programs

  • Manage LOB and firmwide campus school teams. Formulate effective recruiting processes considering school nuances and business specific hiring priorities

  • Pre-identify top talent by attending campus presentations, career fairs, recruiter learning sessions, firmwide and virtual initiatives

  • Ensure fairness and consistency with our assessment and evaluation processes

  • Drive a robust selling process to ensure high conversions at all stages of recruitment

  • Continue to develop and improve the campus recruitment strategy for the GIM business

  • Design, implement, and manage the summer intern program

Relationship/ Resource Management

  • Build and/or maintain the visibility of the cross AWM campus recruitment efforts through relationships with the wider campus team, business, schools, students and other key constituents

  • Seek opportunities to build relationships with non-core schools and key organizations

  • Build and develop external networks to establish competitor intelligence and consistent industry practices

  • Help to develop campus recruitment colleagues

  • Partner with the JP Morgan HR community and ensure we deliver a best in class service both internally and externally

  • Day to day supervision of a recruiting coordinator

Risk/Controls/Data & Technology

  • Follow the JP Morgan business principles

  • Monitor and manage appropriate controls for AWM NAMR campus recruiting - ensure that company policies and legislative changes are being adhered to at all times

  • Manage and track spending in line with approved recruiting budgets

  • Accountable for the successful integration of all technology enhancements and changes

  • Utilize firmwide recruitment tools to capture all recruiting and hiring activity

  • Collect and analyze recruitment data regularly to determine trends in hiring

  • Measure and evaluate recruiting success & provide key metrics to management, including: Diversity, Cost Per Hire, Summer Conversion Rates, Summer and Full Time Acceptance Rates, Budget Tracking

Marketing/ Branding &Education

  • Pre-identify and attract top talent by attending on/off campus presentations and other events, such as: career fairs, networking receptions, skills sessions, pop-up’s, virtual and diversity events and through interviewing candidates

  • Understand and educate candidates on our global firmwide opportunities

  • Partner with campus marketing to help drive innovation

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 -4 years of business or recruiting experience

  • Desire to build knowledge and understanding of Asset & Wealth Management businesses

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills

  • Demonstrated capability to lead and manage projects

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships
