The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) group provides financial advice to support the CIB’s business strategy and helps to ensure a sound control environment. Within F&BM, the four major areas of responsibility are: Business-aligned BMs (Business Managers), the CIB Controller, Support Staff CFO, and Planning and Analysis.
Finance & Business Management’s goals for CIB Technology are to be an efficient, full service finance management and business management function enabling Technology and the Business, and to manage financial integrity and accuracy, providing transparency to senior technology leaders and the Business.
Markets Execution is an exciting new organisation bringing together 1000 technologists, product managers, and user experience professionals to develop and execute on the Firm’s digital strategy for best-in-class client experience and supporting growth of JPMorgan’s external client-facing digital platforms across multiple channels – mobile, desktop, API, Symphony and web.
Markets Execution Finance & Business Management is seeking a Business Manager - Vice President based in New York (reporting to the Global Markets Execution Technology Business Manager Lead) supporting key product areas across Markets Execution for Research & Analytics, Risk & Trade Management, Pricing & Structuring covering Front Office and Technology.
The Business Manager – will lead and work closely with the Chief Business Technologists to formulate and execute overall strategy across the various investment programs. The Business Manager will integrate with key stakeholders, technology management and business management to ensure the ‘big picture’ and goals are aligned. Additionally, they will operate in a chief-of-staff function for in many aspects.
Work with Chief BusinessTechnologists as trusted partner to drive transparency and accountabilityof financials and support their business management needs.
Hold monthly businessreview metings on financial results, risks and issues, and demandmanagement.
Partner with MarketsExecution Core Finance to develop and leverage standard financial exhibitsin all forums
Systematic and accuractetracking and reporting of project roll-off, reinvestment, unfunded demand,infrastructure costs, productivity, vendor costs, forecasting and business allocations.
Support of workforce andlocation strategies
Partner with Businessand Technology to effectively deliver on the Roadmap
Assist withcommunication of key Markets Execution Technology accomplishments andrisks/issues to Global Business Heads as part of the quarterly governancereview
Communicate and documentall financial risks and opportunities across managed and allocatedfinancials.
Provide inputs to theglobal Business Controls Forums and Committees, highlighting key Technologyrisk/controls projects and production stability issues
Promote MarketsExecution toolsets across CIB and drive adoption
Become liaison betweenbusiness users across CIB and technology teams beyond our organization
Analyze existingcapabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities
Prioritize needs andinvestments based upon Markets Execution relationship insights,competitive positioning and industry research
Candidates with a consulting background in financial services industry are preferred. The successful candidate should also possess the following attributes:
