Chase Consumer & Community Banking serves nearly 66 million consumers and 4 million small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, investment advice, small business lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments and auto financing. The Digital team is responsible for building innovative platforms and developing new products that make banking and payment tasks simpler and more personalized for our customers, as well as deepen customer engagement and loyalty with more relevant offers and services. Digital IT Portfolio PMO Transformation team is seeking an analyst to support the transformation of our team. The transformation focus will be to look across our portfolio management processes and implement improvements. This includes leading sessions to evangelize and harvest innovative ideas which will drive our processes to be more iterative and continuous. Also to develop communication plans for each of the teams: Metrics, Portfolio Planning & Oversight, Program Mgmt, Release Coordination and Release Management. These plans will include best practices, governance tools and business controls that need to be communicated to all Digital Tribes & Support Partners.


  • Analyze current tasks with all teams and develop plan for transformation

  • Assist in developing library of transformation artifacts, controls & dashboards

  • Facilitate continuous improvement efforts for Digital IT Portfolio Management team.

  • Consistently look for ways to enhance existing processes for greater efficiency and existing communication vehicles for greater effectiveness and impact.

  • Develop and execute strategic internal communication plans and tactics to educate, engage and motivate key audiences.

  • Manage stakeholder communications both within and outside of Digital IT Portfolio Management.

  • Maintain team communications calendar of deadlines, deliverables and outputs.

  • Manage all aspects of development and execution of recurring communication and engagement events and activities (e.g., quarterly briefings, all-hands meetings, appreciation events).

  • Work directly with departmental leads, EDs and MD to understand issues in order to proactively recommend, plan and execute effective communications solutions

  • Collaborate with JPMC Corporate Communications and creative teams to develop content that accurately reflects Digital plans and accomplishments, such as videos and case studies

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Years of Experience: 7--10 years’ related communications experience required.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organization and project management skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, collaboration, relationship building and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives.

  • Strong command of the English language with excellent editing and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to confidently advise and influence senior management and business partners at all levels.

  • Proficient at managing conflict, multiple constituencies, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines

  • Demonstrates initiative, good judgement, diplomacy, and accountability.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and SharePoint development and administration experience.

  • A solid understanding of the role of communications in change management.

Required Skillsets:

  • Building out backlogs and setting up Kanban boards

  • JIRA, Clarity, Confluence, and SharePoint and other, related Project Management packages

  • Expert knowledge in the project methodologies – waterfall, and agile and able to construct a skeleton program plan based upon one or both methodologies

  • Experience identifying risks and issues, and translating them into an actionable statements; experience communicating program delivery risk to various senior stakeholders, including business and technology executives and their teams

  • Strong leadership experience required, in order to consistently guide divergent perspectives into an overall solution for the program plan

  • Consultative, positive approach to performing job activities internally within the PMO, and externally to our clients. Experience working in a consulting firm is a plus.
