Across Corporate Technology, perhaps the most important current initiative is the development of a Corporate Tech data lake platform (Everest), which will be leveraged to consolidate and manage data across all of the CT functions. Our work across this platform has been organized into multiple distinct workstreams to ensure that the broad set of capabilities that we need to deliver are getting the attention and focus they need. At the same time, these workstreams have many interdependencies so there is an extremely collaborative aspect to managing delivery across the platform. These workstreams include the following capabilities:

· Data Ingestion

· Data and Model Registration

· Data Enrichment / Transformation

· Data Consumption

· Feed Management

· Entitlements & Security

· Dev Ops & SRE for Everest

· Tooling and processes to manage multi-tenant utilization of infrastructure, software services, and data

· Data and Model Governance

· Operational Data Management including reconciliations and adjustments

· Test Automation and Environment Management

We are looking for strong Product Owners who will be able to take leadership of one or more of these distinct workstreams, with a particular focus on:

· Understanding the broader demand pipeline for Everest services and linking that to the features that need to be further enhanced or developed within the platform to satisfy the demand

· Defining what is in or out of scope for the workstreams that are in the Product Owner’s remit, and prioritizing requirements / scope items accordingly

· Helping drive decisions on how we plan to design the work in scope

· Ensuring requirements are well defined and articulated in testable ways

· Ensuring that there is visibility into the implementation and delivery of these requirements

· Understanding the linkages between different Everest workstreams and communicating with other product owners and workstream leads

· Helping to manage onboarding of datasets and teams into the Everest platform

The Everest team follows agile development practices and manages an internal Open Source code base. Development is very collaborative, and members of the Everest team work closely with different development teams across Corporate Technology to develop or co-develop features. All software is delivered in a test driven manner.

  • 15 years of project or program management experience in the development of a large scale application or platform

  • Strong understanding of agile development principles, and demonstrated capability in agile delivery

  • Ability to instill organization and structure into a team

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and manage program / project risks

  • Ability to understand technical requirements and contribute in design or architecture discussions

  • Understanding of data management concepts and big data technologies a plus

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Team oriented and collaborative working style
