JPMorgan Chase Lending Innovation Product Owner - Vice President in New York, New York

Job Description

Card Installments is a product group within Lending Innovation that seeks to build capabilities that enable customers to Buy-Now-Pay-Later at various stages in their purchasing journey leveraging the existing available credit endowed to them by their card products. Card Installments is a strategic area, with a multi-year roadmap including the build and launch of new products with new and existing partners as well as enhancements to existing in-market capabilities.

The Vice President in this role will sit on the Partner Integration area product team and be responsible for cultivating new partner relationships, aligning on external partner product strategy and roadmap, building out high level product requirements, and coordinating execution of product deliverables across the other area product groups within Card Installments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product expert during the corporate development lifecycle from pitch to contract signing

  • Co-develop product strategy and roadmap with Area Product Owner, key stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Facilitate product discovery and requirement building with external and internal partners

  • Conduct or coordinate research on market trends, competitive insights, to inform product design

  • Maintain an ongoing deep knowledge and documentation of customer and user experience journeys on external partner digital platforms

  • Drive commitment for critical dependencies - including facilitating elaboration sessions, helping to secure resources, ensuring sprint alignment, etc.

  • Identify, coordinate and sequence dependencies on other product teams; Help remove impediments for the team

  • Respect, value and promote diversity, equity and inclusion

What We're Looking For:

  • Familiarity with Buy-Now-Pay-Later solutions (at a minimum as a user)

  • 5+ years of product management, consulting, corporate development, or relevant experience

  • Experience with relationship and/or partner management

  • Ability to map existing business processes and identify opportunities to optimize them

  • Experience with Agile product development techniques, principles and practices, specifically supporting a large product organization

  • Comfortable discussing Application Programming Interface (API) solutions

  • Ability to write User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to provide technology partners with clear guidance to develop iteratively

  • Utilizes a customer centric mindset when applying research and designed based solutions

  • Capable of adjusting and reacting to evolving business priorities

  • Committed to building partnerships to drive alignment and finalize key decisions to achieve desired outcomes

  • Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, Atlassian tools, Confluence and JIRA, and Adobe
