JPMorgan Chase Sr. Software Engineer (Python, Java or C++) - VP in New York, New York

Be part of Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM) - New York team to work with Front Office, Middle Office, Finance and Product Controllers on various business initiatives, regulatory, audit and control initiatives.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and OOO programming – Python, Java or C++.

  • Become proficient in Python, and the Athena platform’s NoSql OO database, graphoriented development.

  • Good understanding of two or more FI products (FX, Fixed Income Derivatives, Options, etc

  • Face directly to end users for production issues to investigate and analyze, fix and\or find alternative · Manage multiple issues in a production environment prioritizing most critical issues to investigate and · Model, debug, document and push components to production

  • Become key technology partner with Trading Desk along with key stakeholders groups from Operations, Finance, Product Controllers, Audit and Control

  • Provide communications, organize stakeholder meetings for updates and seek feedback for areas of improvement

  • Become key participant in various firm wide projects towards CEM Harmonization and delivering a standardized stack of applications across various LOB's

  • Participate and ensure key controls are in place representing the Business from a Technology perspective (internal and external) and\or Regulatory reviews


  • Knowledge of EM specific products.
