JPMorgan Chase Strategic Communications, Corporate Responsibility, Senior Associate in New York, New York

The CR department is comprised of Global Philanthropy, Global Government Relations, The JPMorgan Chase PolicyCenter, Public Affairs, Office of Nonprofit Engagement, Sustainable Finance, and the JPMorgan Chase Institute. The department also works closely with the firm's major lines of business to ensure these efforts are deeply rooted in how the firm does business around the world.

The CR communications team is looking to fill the role of Senior Associate, Strategic Communications for Corporate Responsibility. This role will report to the Executive Director and Head of Strategic Communications for CR, supporting the coordination and development of communications strategies to increase awareness of the firm's contributions to our communities and maximize the value, reach and impact of the firm's CR efforts around the world.

Responsibilities

CR Communications seeks a senior associate who will support the development and implementation of creative and dynamic externally-facing strategic communications plans that amplify the firm's business and community impact with key right audiences, using traditional and non-traditional channels in creative ways, including:

  • Support the creation of integrated communications materials and their amplification across owned and external channels, including brochures, reports and stakeholder engagement toolkits

  • Develop creative ways to reach key stakeholders with our communications, bringing fresh eyes and a digital-first mindset to existing materials and processes

  • Coordinate with colleagues across Corporate Responsibility including Government Relations and Global Philanthropy as well as communications partners from marketing, internal communications, public relations and other lines of business.

  • Help source and write print and digital content that tells the story of our impact

  • Manage dynamic content across the firm's website to share information about new and developing initiatives

  • Project manage a variety of different communications announcements and materials, including leading the development of the firm's Corporate Responsibility Report

  • Develop and manage work plans to ensure that projects are executed effectively and in a timely fashion

  • Measure and report the impact of communications plans, report performance and recommend/implement improvements

  • Partner with lines of business to amplify CR initiatives and content to clients and prospective clients

  • Compile and maintain key contact lists, as well as coordinate local and national market communications, in close coordination with various CR, market and communications colleagues

  • Support ad hoc communications assignments across communications and the Corporate Responsibility department

Qualifications:

An ideal candidate must have an interest in the intersection of corporate responsibility and familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's work and impact. They will be a self-starter with experience across and digital content development, stakeholder engagement and project management, who readily accepts responsibility and proactively identifies opportunities to provide assistance.   • 4+ years of experience driving innovative communications strategies for corporations, campaigns or non-profits

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

  • Strategic thinker who can work collaboratively with CR colleagues and other LOB colleagues to maximize the value of the firm's CR efforts

  • Proven ability to build effective relationships

  • Strong writing skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment and strong collaborative decision-making skills combined

  • Commitment to exemplifying the highest standards of integrity and professional excellence

  • Role is based in New York, NY or Washington, DC
