JPMorgan Chase Accountant - Neovest - Associate in Orem, Utah

Neovest Inc., located in Orem, Utah, is currently seeking a qualified accountant to be a part of our Finance team. We are looking for a candidate who has a thorough knowledge of accounting processes and controls.

Job Summary:

As an Accountant for Neovest Inc. you will be responsible for completing general accounting duties (such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, prepaids, accruals), processing user accounts, reporting and reconciling with the exchanges, along with ensuring accuracy for customer exchange contracts.

You will be part of a financial team and must be well-versed in accounting principles while maintaining thoroughness and precision in daily projects. You will need a high level of Excel expertise, along with familiarity with pivot tables. This position requires you to be accurate, precise, and thorough; while maintaining clear and consistent communication within the Finance team and interdepartmental teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data

  • Demonstrates the ability to substantiate and reconcile financial transactions

  • Understand month end processes, journal entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • BA/BS degree in Business with emphasis in accounting

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills.

  • Proficient math aptitude and ability to work accurately with numbers.

  • Able to effectively interact and communicate with billing managers, co-workers, as well as customers.

  • 1+ years relevant financial experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities during a compressed time-frame

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
