As a Product Director in JPMorgan Payments, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

The Value-Added Services team is responsible for the development of turn-key solutions to optimize and protect our clients' transactions. These solutions include but not limited to tokenization and encryption, Fraud management , transaction optimization, recurring billing at global scale and across. The client experience of doing business with Merchant Services rests largely with ease to use services, and simple integrations. Building these solutions and services requires collaboration with Clients and their representatives to ensure we're delivering valuable services in a timely manner and with minimal effort on the client side to consume the service.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets

  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth

  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives

  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives

  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation

  • Leads and inspires a cross functional product and technology teams fostering a culture of collaboration, product excellence, customer orientation an innovative thinking.

  • Develops and executes a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the firm's goals and objectives

  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation; Identifies and drives commerce opportunities based on JP Morgan Tokenization, Encryption, Fraud Management, Recurring Payments, and distribution capabilities

  • Works with Payments Industry solutions colleagues to define, advocate for, and commercialize novel identity-based industry use cases; Works closely with Technology, Operations, and Controls leaderships to align on goals, clear and transparent roadmap, smooth and efficient product delivery, and problem solving to ensure fully featured, compliant, performant, and stable client solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications

  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics

  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions

  • Must have proven experience in payment processing and very deep understanding of the payment brands rules and directives, omni-channel experiences, token vaults, fraud and risk management tools, recurring payment, payment optimization and checkout

  • Deep understanding of tokenization technology and its application to digital payments Experience with E-commerce and end to end online payment acceptance

  • Experience or equivalent expertise in merchant acquiring with technical knowledge of underlying technologies, including payments APIs and

  • Demonstrated abilities to be very focused, with great attention to the details to drive end to end results, with focus on scaling product and platforms sustainability; Proven experience in understanding the merchant and client business needs and how the products can impact their implementations and business execution

  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics; Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions; Expert knowledge of product development methodologies, technical design, and data analytics

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
