Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others
Chase Auto Originations Credit Policy Executive Director
Main responsibilities will include :
Manage decision strategy and credit policy for CAF auto. Ensure policies and decision strategy are safe and sound and operating both effectively and as designed.
Continual optimization of policy design to include regular recertification of all aspects of credit policy and decision strategy. Ensure policy execution aligns with written strategy.
Adoption and refinement of various data incorporation into decision strategy that include:
capacity to pay
collateral, dealer, channel
alternative non-traditional credit attributes
internal Chase data
alignment with CCB wherever possible and/or as required
Work closely with Dealer Services and Manufacturing Partners to refine and automate segments that are currently subject to manual decision and interpretation.
Responsibility for the development and implementation of risk initiatives and acquisition strategies which impact all CAF Dealer Services and Manufacturing Partners
Assist with on-going dialog and support of CAF Dealer Services and Manufacturing Partners to identify policy expansion and tightening opportunities as well as new business initiatives/partners
Interface with subject matter experts across product lifecycle (Forecasting, IT, Fraud, Collection, Credit Policy, Pricing, Risk Execution) to help support Dealer Services and Manufacturing Partners.

Successfully manage the policy development team who are strong analyst with varied levels of business expertise.
Interpret large amounts of complex data to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk strategy.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners.
Required Qualifications :
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, or related quantitative field
10+ years of risk analytical experience; preferably in financial services industry with acquisition strategy background
Attention to details and strong project management skills
Highly motivated, confident, team player with strong problem solving skills
Comfortable working with ambiguity and finding creative ways to enhance analytic capabilities while having a broad view of the business needs
Strong analytical and technical skills, knowledge of SAS, SQL, MS Office, etc.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in credit risk analysis in consumer credit or related field
Strong knowledge of statistics, e.g., linear regression, logistic regression, decision tree, etc.
