DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Drive and facilitate data analytics projects requested by the business or initiated relating to process improvements, reporting solutions, risk reduction, automation, and building cross-organizational processes and systems. Assess business requirements and deliver desired results for business users of systems/databases/reporting tools. Mind and transform data for analytics and reporting use. Provide oversight of all development tasks and production release cycles, leveraging Agile methodologies. Coordinate work from different organizations/teams to deliver projects/solutions for upper level business users. Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use insights to help provide improvements to coding hygiene. Plan and develop project ideas, assess project resources, collaborate with stakeholders, monitor progress, track roadblocks, and ensure projects are completed on time and executed smoothly. Coach and mentor junior teammates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology and Management, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an Analytics Solutions, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Management, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as an Analytics Solutions, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Business system analysis or business application design and development; SQL; Python, SPARK or SAS; database design and relational database principles; large scale data warehouse; payment processing operations; data visualization development using Business Intelligence tools including Tableau, Business Objects, and PowerBI; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); agile methodologies; Microsoft Office; VBA to create macros in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; assessing and analyzing complex business processes.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
