JPMorgan Chase Control Manager-Wholesale Know Your Customer in Plano, Texas

As a Operational Control Manager (\"OCM\") in Wholesale Know Your Customer (\"WKO\"), you will be responsible for managing the controls agenda globally, including identifying and monitoring significant risks and ensuring compliance with operational policies, control procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements. The controls agenda will support the end-to-end WKO organization by providing management with sufficient information to understand and monitor key operational risks and regulatory activities/concerns. Global WKO OCM will partner with critical stakeholders including WKO Operations, Regional WKO OCM, Compliance, Technology, and Audit to ensure alignment to firm standards. WKO's operational risks and controls will be consistently evaluated on an ongoing and independent basis using a risk-based approach to comply with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of WKO policies, procedures, and operating model as well as systems/platforms used to carry out these activities

  • Investigate and analyze emerging issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with WKO teams to define and execute plans to resolve the issue

  • Synthesize large amounts of information efficiently and effectively into clear and concise messages to be relayed to WKO Global OCM Lead and key stakeholders

  • Provide reporting of significant control activities (e.g., status of audits and exams, outstanding issues and corrective actions, critical information security breaches, control scorecards for WKO Organization, etc.)

  • Advise on and continually reassess key risks and appropriateness of controls to ensure timely identification of significant risks and issues to support an evolving business & regulatory environment

  • Support overall meeting administration (e.g., Business Control Committees, Business Control Forums), including production and distribution of the materials, quality review of data within the materials, and managing the meeting invite and tracking action items to closure

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3 or more years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation

  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information efficiently and effectively into clear and concise messages

  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines in an aggressive and dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) and/or Anti Money Laundering (AML)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Proficient in Jira, including backend design

  • Bachelor's degree

This is a hybrid role which requires going into the office 3 days a week with 2 days flexibility to work from home, which is subject to change.

Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
