About Finance & Business Management: Corporate Sector Finance & Business Management (F&BM) associates are responsible for internal and external data gathering, analysis, reporting, financial budgeting or forecasting. Individuals work directly with information creating meaningful analyses, reports, management presentations, and strategy documents in support of a client, business or function, senior management or external requirements. Individuals optimize business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. F&BM acts as a trusted advisor and counterweight to business/group heads and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.

About the Billing Services & Transformation team: The ET Billing Services & Transformation (ET-BST) team delivers transparency to the LOBs regarding $XB Enterprise Technology (ET) allocations through accurate billing, inventory analysis, and insightful reporting. ET-BST handles the monthly processing of ET allocations utilizing Product & Price Guide (PPG) and dollar based products. The team serves as a liaison between Tech product owners and LOBs during billing disputes and executes adjustments where necessary. ET-BST is also responsible for producing Standardized Financial Reporting for ET (ex GTI) towers monthly and pursuing other report standardization opportunities across ET.

Position Description

Associate will work closely with LOBs to facilitate an understanding of their monthly Technology allocations. The position will develop management reporting to facilitate tracking actual expenses vs. budget and/or outlook forecasts. The successful applicant will be an energetic individual with a strong financial background capable of multi-tasking and analytically reviewing processes to identify improvements. The candidate should possess good time management, communication, and presentation skills. This role requires a talented individual that is able to manage a heavy workload as well as being able to partner well with technology teams and LOBs in a collaborative way. Core activities associated with the position include the following:

Financial Management & Process Improvement:

  • Providesolutions to resolve issues related to the quality of data coming out of theclient allocation processes

  • Managementof Indirect chargeback & allocation methodologies

Business and Relationship Management:

  • Buildsand maintains relationships with key stakeholders including clients, service providersacross IT lines of business as well as enterprise functions

  • Liaisewith various stakeholders across Technology and F&BM to ensure bestpractices and desired results

Business Analytics:

  • Maintainand refine key metrics for determining allocation rules for clients

  • Executesfinancial analysis, understands, develops and reports key business metrics, toidentify potential opportunities and suggest solutions

  • Responsible forgathering relevant data, then analyzing and reporting the data in a meaningfulmanner to support management decisions around business processes andefficiencies

  • Analyzes budgetsand costs to presents analysis to management and internal clients

  • Reconciliationand analysis of monthly financials from multiple reporting tools

  • Analysis andpresentation of financial variances and trends, consolidation and reporting ofexplains

Senior Management Reporting

  • Create andpresent decks and dashboards to senior management that clearly articulate thefinancial story/strategy and provide insight/recommendations

  • Ensure accuracy, highquality and often requiring quick turn-around times.

  • Provide ad-hocfinancial analysis to senior management on a frequent basis

Budgeting/ Planning

  • Tracking anddriving(reporting) of budget against pre-set targets

  • Production andpresentation of planning reporting to senior management

  • Minimum of 3+ years ofrelated experience (Business Management, Financial Management, ProgramManagement) with previous experience supporting Technology organizationspreferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business relateddiscipline – accounting, finance, or economics preferred

  • Ability to present information in a clear andconcise manner that tells the story behind financials in a compelling way

  • Detail oriented individual capable ofcompleting reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely basis, and in apresentable manner

  • Individual must be able to work independentlyas well as in a team situation

  • Excellent time management skills and abilityto multi task and handle competing priorities under pressure

  • Self-starter with initiative to improveprocess, innovation, and go beyond immediate responsibilities

  • Advancedsystems skills required including knowledge of Excel, Essbase, PowerPoint

  • Strongrelationship management skills to interface with various stakeholders

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills necessary
