JPMorgan Chase Loan Origination Manager II in Plano, Texas

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) supports several lines of businesses that include Business Banking, Commercial Bank, Global Wealth Management, and Investment Bank. Located in 7 sites globally, the Flow Originations & Deal Setup Team, within WLS, is a high-volume production-based operation function responsible for Pre-Underwriting, Post Approval, Document Preparation & Booking activities supporting the end-to-end lending process.

As a Loan Origination Manager II on the Flow Originations & Deal Setup Team, you will be globally supporting the Pre-Underwriting, Post Approval, Document Preparation & Booking teams. You will also be responsible to lead and manage the prioritization of the broader teams work efforts & maximize team capacity through effective resource planning to ensure all deliverables are met. You will use your skills to motivate the team's efforts to uphold effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports Evergreen procedural reviews to confirm accuracy of procedures; making recommendations for enhancements & consolidation where appropriate to improve the employee experience

  • Supports creation of & maintenance of training guides & job aides

  • Creates standard communications that help the teams understand changes to process as well as the rationale for the change

  • Identifies gaps in procedures (processes) and liaise as necessary with other business units and stakeholders to escalate issues for resolution including assessment of materiality.

  • Coordinates with the Loan Origination Supervisors & Managers on action items and prioritization of work

  • Partners with the Team Functions, Project Leads, Quality Control, Risk & Controls, and Client Excellence team members to ensure cross impacts are determined & addressed

  • Represents the broader team on project calls to ensure operational impacts are fully understood & addressed

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • BS/BA Degree - Communications, Finance, or Business preferred or equivalent military or work related experience

  • Expert knowledge in financial services for Commercial Banking, bilateral loan products & loan documentation;

  • 3 or more years of experience in Pre-Underwriting, Post Approval, Document Preparation or Deal Setup
