About this role:
The focus of this position is to help the team support the management and execution of projects, reporting analysis, assignments and tasks within Pricing & Billing, Merchant Adjustments and Payment Brand Registrations . This business analysis role will be part of the Merchant Services Operations Pricing and Billing COE team reporting to the Pricing and Billing COE Manager and working across multiple matrixed business disciplines to proactively manage issues and remove barriers to the timely completion and closure of pricing, billing and adjustment related activities.
The candidate is expected to participate in project activities surrounding new quality validation exercises, help document process and procedures and effectively resolve issues as they arise. The candidate will need to use analytical skills to help research issues and to solve business problems with common business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Cognos, etc. It will be a plus if the candidate has the ability to design macros, Access databases, etc.
The candidate is expected to operate independently with a very high energy level. Demonstrating executive & mature presence and acting with a sense of urgency will be expected in almost all situations. The business operations and technology processes underlying the organization are largely state of the art. For this role, the candidate should aspire to help the operations attain state of the art status for Pricing and Billing. Therefore, this position must work to drive the organization to those goals.

Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2 years of related experience in Merchant Services
Business analyst functions along with an understanding of LOB processes and procedures.
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Office Products such as Word and Excel, Access and business presentation tools such as Power Point & PitchPro, Sharepoint
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and focus on delivery
Ability to work independently as well as work with colleagues across locations
Highly motivated with the drive to learn new skills
Demonstrated organizational skills including effective prioritization, timely and appropriate documentation
Desired Qualifications (Not Essential but a plus):
Proficiency with data querying using Cognos and/or SQL
Experience and or knowledge interfacing with the Payment Brands
Strong expertise in Pricing and Billing
