JPMorgan Chase Software Asset Management Director in Plano, Texas

The Enterprise Software Management team provides end-to-end software management services globally across JPMorgan Chase including vendor relationships, contract management, software request fulfillment, software asset management, and software data management. The team oversees a budget of more than $350 million, which includes the majority of the firm’s Enterprise License Agreements.
Software Asset Management Director will be key member of Enterprise Software Management leadership team and manage teams in both NJ and Hyderabad locations. This role will be responsible for executing the strategy to manage global software assets that encompasses over 1000 vendors deployed over 600K devices. Additional key responsibilities for this role are:
Define and implement software asset management strategy that improves the capability and maturity level by implementing automated and sustainable process while reducing license compliance risk and optimizing software consumption
Provide leadership in software IT policies and procedures to approve, acquire and provision licenses; and to track and report software consumption, entitlements and maintenance costs
Lead in software vendor audit and regulatory inquiries regarding license compliance and software governance processes
Manage and deliver world-class software data analytics and reporting services to executives and key partners
Lead, train and mentor staff of software analysts across multiple locations
Prior software asset management experience is required
Strong knowledge and experience in IT asset management frameworks (e.g. ITIL, ITSM, ITAM)
Strong organizational, analytical, and complex problem solving skills
Excellent ability to document processes, procedures, definitions, and work-flows
Strong communications and influencing skills at all levels of the organization, working dynamically across global and diverse teams
Proven track record in leading team in innovation and automation
Experience in key software asset management tools helpful (Flexera, Aspera, Snow, ServiceNow)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
