JPMorgan Chase Vice President, Software Engineer in Plano, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Lead product requirements, design, implement and maintain software solutions. Manage estimates, resources allocation and plan end to end delivery of a product per timelines including direct reports. Perform software development across the whole application and specialize in the area of rich user interface design and implementation. Coordinate complex information system development or revisions and implement technical functions in the on premises/cloud infrastructure environment to achieve the desired results in the system or system enhancement. Involved in complete SDLC of product delivery. Conduct and coordinate investigative and analytical studies of complex system functions and operations to select approaches for the resolution of complex problems or improving the efficiency of existing systems. Analyze and recommend new procedures and techniques to improve the supported systems as well as participate in configurations, deployment, and post -production support. Onboard and work on latest technologies such as cloud date, no SQL Databases, spring boot applications, Micro services. Utilize experience with Modern programming languages including CORE Java, Maven, JavaScript, REACT, Core Spring, Springboot and Terraform; working with microservices, micro frontends and domain driven design; Web services frameworks including RESTful, JSON and XML; software engineering platforms and frameworks including Spring, Spring boot, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and Linux; JavaScript Testing Frameworks including JEST Unit Testing and JavaScript; Agile methodology and DevOps Practices; No SQL Data bases including Elastic Search and Cassandra; Lead/Architect, Design Authority, Performance Tuning and tools including Dynatrace, Blaze Meter, Application Maintenance, Resources Management, Development and Operations (DevOps) and CICD Pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a Software Engineer-related occupation.

Skills Required: Position requires experience in the following skills:

  1. Seven (7) years of experience in Modern programming languages including CORE Java, Maven, JavaScript, REACT, Core Spring, Springboot and Terraform.

  2. Five (5) years of experience working with microservices, micro frontends and domain driven design.

  3. Five (5) years of experience in Web services frameworks including RESTful, JSON and XML.

  4. Five (5) years of experience in software engineering platforms and frameworks including Spring, Spring boot, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and Linux.

  5. Two (2) years of experience in JavaScript Testing Frameworks including JEST Unit Testing and JavaScript.

  6. Two (2) years of experience in Agile methodology and DevOps Practices.

  7. Seven (7) years of experience in No SQL Data bases including Elastic Search and Cassandra.

  8. Three (3) years of experience in Lead/Architect, Design Authority, Performance Tuning and tools including Dynatrace, Blaze Meter, Application Maintenance, Resources Management, Development and Operations (DevOps) and CICD Pipeline
